With your help we can continue to make a difference. You can make a donation NOW or come into one of our parks and grab a pair of Gumboot Up socks for $5 and all proceeds go directly to the Gumboot Friday foundation.
JUMP is very proud to be partnering with Mike King’s founded charity I AM HOPE and helping to raise money for the Gumboot Friday fund which is a fun way for kiwis to join in the mental health conversation while raising money to provide FREE and timely counseling for any young person in need.
JUMP has produced special I AM HOPE ‘Gumboot Up’ socks in aid of the Gumboot Friday appeal and for a $5 donation, you can get a pair of these limited edition socks (with or without grip) to wear which will help start the conversation around mental health. All proceeds go towards providing free counseling sessions by registered mental health practitioners for our young community in need.
With the inception of our sock initiative, JUMP hopes to raise $60,000 for the Gumboot Friday fund, which will provide 500 kids valuable FREE counseling sessions so they can get the help and support they need when they need it most.
In 2019 it was with great sadness that we lost one of our own team members when they took their own life. This was absolutely devastating for everyone and led us to understand how many of our young team members and young customers that we engage with daily are at risk so we decided we needed to do something to help.
