JUMP . PLAY . SMILE
JUMP's Disability & Sensory programme is an opportunity to provide an environment for those in our community that prefer a lower sensory environment.
Our Disability & Sensory friendly sessions are the perfect opportunity to try out our trampolines in a lower sensory environment. We turn off all strobe lighting, implement natural lighting where we can, and reduce overall noise levels in the park by turning down the music, monitoring parkwide noise levels, and reducing the capacity of our parks, meaning there will be fewer people on the tramps. There are no PA announcements on the loudspeaker except in emergencies, and our safety briefings are conducted in small groups or individually without a microphone.
We offer an environment that provides parallel play within a trampoline park environment to help develop motor skills and improve coordination and muscle strength whilst promoting stable posture and increased stamina through trampolining, fun activities, and recreation.
Our JUMP Disability & Sensory friendly programme is built on the core values of JUMP, PLAY, and SMILE. Our team knows how to effectively deliver the sessions in a fun way and understand the needs of our Disability & Sensory friendly session attendees.
Our team will always promote JUMP safety and create a fun environment with interactive activities that will always put a SMILE on your face.
Please note due to health and safety regulations. Our JUMP branded safety-certified grip socks are to be worn by jumpers on the trampolines at all times during our Disability & Sensory friendly sessions. Due to Auckland Council regulations, we also have a no-outside food policy but please let us know on arrival if you have any specific dietary needs.
The ground floor of our facility, which includes the cafe area, general seating area, reception, bathrooms, and an under-5-year-old play area, is wheelchair accessible. Our trampolines are located on our heightened platform area, which is currently only accessible through our various small staircase entry points. However, our team are happy to help with access if you need it. We have one accessible bathroom on-site.
